Google has published a fresh security update for its Chrome web browser that corrects ten vulnerabilities, one of which carries the highest severity rating of Critical. The release follows only two days after the company issued a larger update that resolved 37 separate flaws.
On October 15, Google made available Chrome 155.0.8059.85 and Chrome 155.0.8059.84 for Windows and macOS, as well as Chrome 155.0.8059.84 for Linux. The update is being rolled out progressively over the coming days and weeks.
Among the fixes is CVE-2026-110922, a use-after-free memory corruption issue located in the browser’s Prerender component responsible for pre-rendering web pages. The flaw was reported to Google by an external researcher on October 2 and could be exploited by a malicious website to execute arbitrary code.
The rapid succession of updates underscores Google’s ongoing efforts to address newly discovered threats in one of the world’s most widely used browsers.
