Secunet Expands Sovereign Cloud Portfolio with Fides Governance and ServiceNow AI Workflows

Secunet Security Networks AG has announced two new partnerships to strengthen its sovereign cloud offerings for German authorities, critical infrastructure operators, and regulated industries. The collaboration with Fides Technology GmbH introduces Fides Sovereign Governance, a Germany-hosted platform for managing confidential board documents, resolutions, and compliance processes. Giesecke+Devrient becomes the first reference customer, replacing a previous US provider solution. Separately, Secunet has been named an authorized Sovereign Partner Cloud Provider for ServiceNow, with plans to host the ServiceNow AI Platform in German data centers starting in 2027. The ServiceNow offering will support automated workflows and is being developed to handle VS-NfD classified information. Both initiatives emphasize data control, compliance, and operation within German legal frameworks without reliance on foreign infrastructure.

Secunet Security Networks AG is expanding its sovereign cloud portfolio through two targeted partnerships aimed at organizations with strict requirements for data sovereignty, compliance, and security.

The first partnership involves Fides Technology GmbH and delivers Fides Sovereign Governance, a platform hosted entirely in Germany. It combines Entity Management, Board Portal, resolution tracking, document management, and the Fides AI Assistant. The solution targets legal departments, supervisory boards, compliance teams, and finance units that handle highly sensitive materials such as supervisory board minutes and shareholder resolutions.

Customers receive the platform as a SaaS service under a direct contract with Fides, eliminating the need for separate infrastructure or hosting agreements. Giesecke+Devrient is the first reference customer and is migrating from a previously used US-based provider.

The second partnership positions Secunet as an authorized Sovereign Partner Cloud Provider for ServiceNow. Beginning in 2027, Secunet will operate the ServiceNow AI Platform in its German data centers and provide related services. The offering is designed for public authorities, armed forces, critical infrastructure operators, and other regulated entities seeking to automate fragmented processes while retaining full control over their data.

The ServiceNow solution is also being prepared to process information classified as VS-NfD (Verschlusssache – Nur für den Dienstgebrauch). Both partnerships operate under German jurisdiction and address different aspects of digital sovereignty: Fides focuses on confidential governance data, while ServiceNow targets automated, AI-supported workflows.
